Southside
Mount Srđ
Just a 10-minute scooter ride from Dubrovnik, Mount Srđ offers truly breathtaking views.
Not only is it an ideal spot for perfect selfies with a panoramic view of the city and the Elaphiti Islands, but Srđ is also home to the Imperial Fortress, which houses a museum dedicated to the wartime destruction of Dubrovnik. For those looking for culinary delights, Srđ boasts two restaurants: Panorama , with its magnificent view of Dubrovnik and the Elaphiti Islands, and Konoba Dubrava, offering an authentic atmosphere with local food.
You can reach Srđ by taxi and cable car , but due to the high price and the freedom of movement, scooters are a popular choice among visitors. To avoid the crowds and the strong sun, we advise visiting early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
For a trip to Mount Srđ, a scooter of at least 125cc is ideal.

Park Orsula
South of Dubrovnik, on the way to Cavtat, lies Orsula Park. It is named after Saint Ursula, the patron saint of virgins, and within the park is a chapel dedicated to her, built in the 14th century. According to legend, it is the place where young women facing unwanted pregnancy ended their lives by jumping into the abyss.
The park features an amphitheater with a stunning view of Lokrum and Dubrovnik, often referred to as the “amphitheater with the most beautiful stage in the world.” Orsula Park is an ideal spot for viewing Dubrovnik and enjoying romantic moments.
Due to its hidden entrance and less-known location, Orsula Park maintains a peaceful atmosphere and is seldom crowded.
The best time to visit is in the evening, during sunset, and at night when the yachts turn on their lights and illuminate the waters.
Kupari
Located 10 kilometers south of Dubrovnik, Kupari Beach is a haven for local swimmers seeking peace and an escape from the crowds. This place, once a gleaming tourist center, carries a rich and intricate history.
The name “Kupari” originates from the former production of “kupa,” or roof tiles. Tourism began in the 1920s when the Czechs built the first hotel. Over the years, several hotels were constructed, and Kupari became a popular destination, including a JNA military resort where Josip Broz Tito stayed.
Regrettably, Kupari was completely destroyed during the Croatian War of Independence. The ruins of the hotels still stand today as silent witnesses to the tragic events. Nonetheless, this desolation attracts many, from photographers to artists and adventurers, seeking inspiration in the rubble and nostalgia.
Recently, Kupari has found a new purpose. Acclaimed actress Kate Winslet filmed a movie at this location, and the popular YouTuber Mr. Beast shot a video there. Their presence has drawn global attention, and Kupari is once again being talked about in the media.
The future of Kupari remains uncertain. There are plans for revitalization and transforming it into a modern tourist hub. But regardless of what the future holds, Kupari will forever remain a place with a rich history, a tragic fate, and an inspiring atmosphere.
Mlini
Located just 20 minutes southeast of Dubrovnik, Mlini is a peaceful place named after an old mill by the river. This spot offers an opportunity to experience the local way of life beside the pristine sea and authentic ambiance.
If you’re looking for a place where you can enjoy nature and local culture away from the crowds, Mlini is an excellent choice. There are also two popular establishments,Pirate social club Gusar and Hogar, where you can enjoy coffee and cocktails at reasonable prices, set next to the open-air water polo pool Gusar, adding a special charm to the local environment.
Mlini provides a simple yet rich offering for those who wish to explore and relax, far from the tourist hustle, in the authentic setting of the Dalmatian coast.
Cavtat
Cavtat is located 18 kilometers south of Dubrovnik, about a 30-40 minute scooter ride away. Born from the historical foundations of the city of Epidaurus, this charming Rat Peninsula, known today as Cavtat, is a tranquil fishing and tourist destination, boasting a rich history, beaches, and fine gastronomy.
Stroll along the promenade that offers 40 minutes of pure relaxation, where a bar Little Star nestled on the rocks awaits you.

Trsteno Arboretum
Trsteno, a small settlement located 24 kilometers from Dubrovnik, is home to one of the oldest and most beautiful arboretums in the region. Getting to Trsteno by scooter is easy, with the journey taking about 25 minutes.
The Trsteno Arboretum was established at the end of the 15th century as the summer residence of the Gučetić-Gozze family. Highlights include a Renaissance summer villa with a garden, fountains featuring Neptune and nymphs, and a pavilion overlooking the Elaphiti Islands.
Particularly remarkable are two oriental planes over 500 years old, approximately 45/60 meters tall with a trunk diameter of 5 meters. The arboretum boasts more than 300 species of exotic and decorative trees and shrubs, making it a beautiful oasis of nature and history.
Ston
Ston, once the secondary capital of the Dubrovnik Republic, today is a place rich with historical significance. It is surrounded by impressive walls, second in size only to the Great Wall of China, making them one of the most significant fortification systems in Europe.
A particular feature of Ston is its saltworks, the oldest in Europe that is still operational today. This traditional saltworks maintains ancient methods of salt production, providing a glimpse into the unique blend of history and tradition.
